Missoula Road Trip

Summer is winding down and we have not updated the blog lately. We have a few stories to tell and pictures to share. Aki and Dad went on a road trip to Missoula in late May. Dad went to a conference and Aki enjoyed his time hanging out in Missoula.

Aki with the local kids watching kayakers at the play wave in downtown Missoula. An old irrigation weir on the Clark Fork River has been modified to provide a fun play spot for local kayakers.

A real play wave. Aki scouting out his line for Pipeline on the Lochsa River in Idaho.

Aki camping out along the Lochsa River in Idaho. Aki loves camping.

On the way back home we stopped at the Naches River in Washington State. This river originates from the slopes of Mt. Rainier and is a tributary of the Yakima in eastern Washington.

Aki geared up and ready for action.

Aki tries out his own boat.
