Winter in Seattle

The month of January has been feeling a lot like winter in Seattle and we've had fun playing outside and also enjoying some indoor activities.

Aki and his dad went to visit Willie and Kristin (Aki and Kristin share the same birthday) at their home in Bellingham. Aki enjoyed playing music with Kristin--he especially likes percussion.

We went to see the train show at the Pacific Science Center. Aki really loved watching the trains with all the other boys.

We also stopped in to the butterfly house.

When we got home Aki and dad were inspired to build a more ambitious layout with Aki's wooden train.

We have had a number of snowstorms this year and Aki loves running around out in the snow.
