Japan Trip New Years 2008

In December of 2007 Aki and Dad took over for Japan. Dad switched places with Mom midway through but Aki got to spend 5 weeks in Japan working on his Japanese and visiting family.

Our first morning in Japan Aki enjoyed racing around the parking area on his tricycle.

Aki directed Grandma and Grandpa into the of a truck Grandpa was working on.

Aki loved going to the grocery store but I don't think Grandma found it as entertaining so we didn't get to go after the first couple days.

Aki brought his set of marble blocks and enjoyed playing with them.

Dad went to the craft shop and purchased some wood to make this marble ramp.

We also played around with things we found around the house including parts from a toy xylophone and a toy truck that was sized just right to collect the marble and drive off.

Aki got this train set for Christmas from his aunt and uncle. Cousin Kazuma cried and cried that he did not get one at the same time (his present was back at home).
